One Day's work with Dave Brackett of AEE fame

Went up to Dave's place this past weekend...very long drive both ways but so worth it. In the picture is what we put together in one day.....nearly all original AEE parts...frame (by Dave), sissy bar, seats, shift peg, mirror, risers, light bracket, square glide front end , mini drum (not on bike in pic). I swear another day or two and it would have been running! Amazing to work with Dave again and see what is possible in a short amount of time.

  3. I cannot begin to tell you how much it means to me to see this <3. Thank you for keeping part of my life and heart alive. I will try to keep up with your progress on this "project" of yours, I have limited online "playtime" these days. I spent a great deal of my life in the 80's and 90's on top of that motor as you know. I do miss it. even just taking it out to keep the battery charged.
I busted a gut laughing when I saw the photo you mailed me. same pipes even. (though I am fully aware they are probably off of there by now). it gave me a huge smile, and I would like to maybe come up this summer if ok and possible to see how things are going.. keep up with him so to speak. So much of this old ladys soul is in that engine. Soo many things. Keep up the awesomeness guys.

    Most sincerely,
