Another AEE chopper found it appears!

This one was Rose McMullen's chopper, called Woman's Pride on the cover of the March 1970 issue of street Chopper. This panhead was owned by Jim Clark who sold it to Rose and then Jim and Tom McMullen (all three of them the founders of AEE Choppers and Street Chopper magazine) built Rose's bike. The current owner bought it in 1995. due to exposure when stored he had to remove the tank and molding and repaint (still has the tank in the original paint....paint by Molly). The original springer was not with it when he purchased it. He does have the original sissy bar and brake set up. Below are pictures of when he got it in 1995 and how it is currently. If you are seriously interested in a piece of chopper history you can contact this site and I will put you in touch with him.

Thanks to Big Al for sharing with us....let's find some more AEE builds! This chopper along with Big Twin and the Corvair Trike being found (and now restored by Paul Ponkow of Bones Legacy Choppers in Las Vegas) proves they are out there somewhere.....if you have one or suspect you know where one might be please contact us.

Lets find the rest!!!!

In this picture we have probably the six bikes most famous at AEE. In the rear left to right is the Corvair Trike and Big Twin.....both now in the hands of Paul Ponkow at Bones Legacy Choppers (Big Twin restored to its glorious original red and the Trike being torn down for restoration, see below).
In the front row left to right we have The Shovelhead (purple bike), the Mindbender (the bike that started AEE Choppers), then Really the cool little Honda 350 and finally The Supersport our red Sportster. Of those 4 bikes nothings is known of their location. Help us find these icons....if you see anything that looks close at all let me know!

AEE CORVAIR TRIKE HAS BEEN FOUND!!!!!!!!

I have chased the Corvair Trike for many years. Along the way I found all the previous owners, many stories, some pictures and documentation.....but never did I lay eyes on the bike. The last owner would not send me pictures proving he had it. However......he eventually contact Paul Ponkow of Bones Legacy who just restored Big Twin. Paul struggled to get pictures but with a  combination of will and cash he got pictures and this Sunday he became the new owner of the AEE Corvair Trike! That's right Bones Legacy ahs it and is going to restore it to it's former glory.
Incredibly most of the trike is there in its original state. A few items are incorrect but unlike Big Twin it is structurally intact. Like Big Twin the important parts are all there...driveline, body, front end etc. In this case though the very original Molly paint is still on it. I rode in this with Tom McMullen driving...it will wheelie at will trust me! Sadly, Like Big Twin, I was also one of the guys that loaded it up and shipped it off the day it left AEE. Both bad days for me.
I'll update you as time goes by but for now enjoy the pictures......
