Big Twin fuel/oil tank bodywork

Courtesy Paul Ponkow at Bones Legacy here is a shot of Big Twin's fuel tank receiving the needed body filler prior to paint......not the two caps. One is for fuel and the other goes all the way through the tank to the oil tank hidden below (down between the two engines)......another brilliant design by Dave Brackett the builder of Big Twin at AEE Choppers.

Big Twins tires

These are the original Goodyear Blue streaks that were put on Big Twin 45 years ago by Dave Brackett and the crew at AEE Choppers. Bones Legacy is cleaning them up and going to put them back on Big Twin. Other than the repairs Dave did to the chassis and new paint and upholstery Big Twin is as original...chassis, body, girder, rear end, wheels, tires, engines, trans....amazing its all still there and going to wow us one more time! don't forget 4 of these big boys go on Big Twin!

Dave Brackett's new toy...called 8STR8 (8 straight) on the road.......

Take two Suzuki 550 engines and couple them together to make a straight 8, mount it across the front of the frame and body you design and build, run it through a C4 trans to a rear end you design and build, hang on a springer of your own design, throw some sprint car size tires on and fire it up and go riding! That's Dave's new crazy fun trike....great to see it and Dave on the road.....

Counts Custom in Vegas is spraying Big Twin back to the original red....in case you have never seen it I'm attaching a picture out of Hot Rod magazine July 1970 I think.....thanks again as always to Bones Legacy for restoring this classic and true icon....and to Dave Brackett for his genius then and now in bringing this beauty back alive.....
