Klaes sent me a few more pictures.....

Our Swedish friend Klaes sent me a few more pictures of the chopper he built in the 70's using many AEE parts as you can see. Sort of a replica of our famous purple shovelhead. Look it over, it was very well done.

Lenny Cenotti's AEE chopper.......

This is our former parts manager Lenny Cenotti's ex-CHP shovelhead. All the parts he put on it were from AEE Choppers. He did the paint himself and I can tell you it was awesome. I got to see it the day it was done and it was a beauty. Enjoy this blast out of the past.

A new view of a nice chopper and Tom's plane

I've posted this chopper and the plane before but never had this angle on either. Tom's plane was another one painted by Paint by Molly.

Bones Legacy liquidating some of the collection!

The former Bones Legacy of Las Vegas (now Classic Kustom Cycles) is liquidating much of its chopper collection. They were the restorers of the famous AEE bike Big Twin (featured on Counting Cars on Discovery Channel). They also have the famous AEE Corvair Trike which is currently undergoing restoration. These 2 bikes along with some others will be retained.

Go to the Classic Kustom Cycles Instagram feed for more info.

WE will provide more information as it comes available. They have a massive collection of choppers, parts and memorabilia. not sure what all is for sale but feel free to ask them.

A collection of AEE parts

Again our friend Justin has provided us with some shots of some nice AEE parts. Enjoy.

Another AEE girder found.....very rare!

A friend of AEE, Justin, came across this girder recently. As you can see it is a single leg which makes it stand out from all the rest of the girders of the time. This particular one has been shortened down to about stock length or even less.  Enjoy and if you find one of these build yourself a very very narrow choppers as you are looking at the thinnest narrowest girder there is.

AEE Kit Bike update

Since I sold the kit bike build to John in Ohio he has worked tirelessly to get it completed. I sold it to him as a roller and he literally disassembled it, made changes and repairs to it to make it even more AEE and period "correct" and has got it back together. John is meticulous in making the chopper exactly as it once was. Somehow he even scored the proper reverse rib fender that I could not find! He's done a wonderful job with this build and soon it will be off to chrome and paint (and AEE brake will be laced up for the front).

Big Twin original EBAY ad

Our friend Klaes in Sweden forwarded us this screen shot of the original EBAY ad when Big Twin was offered for sale a few years ago. Long road from this to how it is today! Interesting comments since much of it is wrong....in particular they spelled Tom's name wrong and HD did not build the engines special for this. AEE machined it in house.

AEE Choppers famous purple Shovelhead....replica under construction

A friend of AEE named John Kelly is currently working on an exact replica of the famous Shovelhead. He also now owns the AEE Kit Bike replica and will be completing the build on it too!
He is quite precise and has gone to painstaking lengths to get this right. Check out that springer, its perfect. He has some original AEE parts in place including the very rare wing tank (its a real one) and our reverse rib rear fender. We will follow along as the build progresses to completion......

Another AEE chopper found it appears!

This one was Rose McMullen's chopper, called Woman's Pride on the cover of the March 1970 issue of street Chopper. This panhead was owned by Jim Clark who sold it to Rose and then Jim and Tom McMullen (all three of them the founders of AEE Choppers and Street Chopper magazine) built Rose's bike. The current owner bought it in 1995. due to exposure when stored he had to remove the tank and molding and repaint (still has the tank in the original paint....paint by Molly). The original springer was not with it when he purchased it. He does have the original sissy bar and brake set up. Below are pictures of when he got it in 1995 and how it is currently. If you are seriously interested in a piece of chopper history you can contact this site and I will put you in touch with him.

Thanks to Big Al for sharing with us....let's find some more AEE builds! This chopper along with Big Twin and the Corvair Trike being found (and now restored by Paul Ponkow of Bones Legacy Choppers in Las Vegas) proves they are out there somewhere.....if you have one or suspect you know where one might be please contact us.
